Bernard Beckett, author of Genesis, on Because Everything Is Right but Everything Is Wrong
My work has been used in assessments and studied in high school English classes across the country by several different schools, and I have been a panelist in writers’ festivals in Auckland, Nelson and Wellington.

I am available to talk to students studying my work or to discuss my experience with mental illness, treatment and recovery.

Recently, I have been on panels discussing disability writing and my experiences as a writer with invisible disabilities.

If you are interested, please feel free to contact me. If you are interested in a school visit, you can contact me directly or get in touch with the Writers in Schools Programme.
